Flu Prevention and Immunization Resources

Flu is not just a bad cold. It’s a pretty serious illness that has ripple effects across families, work places and communities.

Houses of worship are often trusted environments where important health messages can be shared.  We offer many resources to help your congregation support the health and well-being of your members and community during flu season.

Look on the menu to the left to see a list of resources.

Our main flu prevention message is:

  • Get your flu shot. There is also now a nasal spray option if you’re queasy about shots!
  • Take good care of yourself–get enough rest, eat well, drink plenty of fluids, manage your stress, laugh often, nurture your relationships.

Be sure to check out our flu prevention video messages in different languages that are shared by faith leaders in the Chicago area.
