Aligning research on faith and health

The Faith-Based Community Engaged Research Network (FBCERN) is a table that brings together researchers from academic, community and faith-based settings who are exploring the role of faith in health promotion and health equity. The FBCERN is an open meeting space where everyone is welcome. The Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities and The Center provide administrative support, but the agenda and goals of the group come out of the interests and energy of the participants.

The group’s mission is:

To improve community health and promote health equity through supporting and connecting Chicagoland faith and academic communities collaborating on community-engaged research in faith settings.

Subgroups that have formed in the past include:

  • Caregivers
  • Defining Faith-Based Measurement Indicators
  • Research in the Muslim Community

To join, simply submit this form and we will add you to the mailing list.
