Stroke Promoters Training Being Offered

The Community Engagement for Early Recognition and Immediate Action in Stroke (CEERIAS) project is offering training for “stroke promoters” in south side Chicago neighborhoods. They are looking for assistance in identifying people who are active in their community who are excited about helping community members learn about stroke symptoms and why it is important to call 911 if they see someone having a stroke.

See a flyer here.

CEERIAS is a community-partnered program looking to improve stroke care in Chicago.  Find out more here.
